OXFORD IN CHELLES 4ÈME EDITION – DAY 4!

4th day at camp was sure a busy one!  Large group Cha-Cha Slide, log books, large group Rounders, finishing up the Graffiti T-Shirts, board games, basketball, drama classes, and learning English through it all! Could you really ask for more?

The whole camp together doing the Cha-Cha Slide! The Cha-Cha Slide is a popular dance in the United States. There are directional words and phrases such as ‘slide to the left’, ‘slide to the right’, reverse, hopping, and more. This gives students exposure to understanding music in the English language and following instructions, all while having fun with friends.
Even the boys are enthusiastic and trying to move in the right direction at the right time!
‘Everybody clap yo hands!’
Matt, an instructor with some of the Group 11 lycéens at the front so that the other students could follow them.
Cha-Cha Slide under the Union Jack bunting, we made a good job of decorating the playground.
Nice view of everyone doing the Cha Cha Slide
Nice moves, Georgia!
Making new friends and getting to practice the English language with them is one of the greatest parts of camp!
