Hello everyone, here are the news for today, on our second day on Oxford in Chelles English camp.
This morning, the Jack n’ Jill offered a cinema showing to the campers in town to watch a film in English, Vaiana. Transport was organised by the town hall. Our English flag was seen by all the Chellois and the campers proudly sang our Jack n’ Jill anthem all the way to the cinema on the coach.
All of our campers in the cinema with the four instructors in front.
We practiced our dance as a camp group and we’re definitely getting physical ! Coordination has hugely improved despite the heat.
We continued doing our art project, learning English through singing and tried to guess who was the « butcher » in our own version in English of the famous strategy game « loup-garou » that we call « Butcher’s pie ».
We’re happy to say that the Otters are fighting back to overtake the Beavers by a healthy 35 points at the end of the second day of camp! Things can change very quickly!
Well done everybody and see you tomorrow!
The Jack n’ Jill team.
