Students of group 6 improving their skills in preparation for the Rounders match on Friday. While developing this skill is great the primary objective is for students to learn new vocabulary such as: to throw, to catch.
Today we even celebrated a birthday. Liam blew out the candles of his 13th birthday cake.

Students playing their first round of Monopoly an activity rich with useful English words and phrases. « It’s my turn », « I would like to buy this property », How much is it ». Additionally, they must count moves and money, read and understand the cards in English and communicate their strategies with their teammates.
After day one the scores are pretty close. The Beavers are leading by 19 points! Will the Otters take the lead tomorrow?
